    Mach 3 cable connection

I am very new to using CNC router and Mach 3. I just received a new to me CNC router and I would like to connect my other machine computer to the new one. But I need a male to male parallel cable and I am having a hard time finding one locally. Will Mach 3 work with a USB to parallel adapter? Thanks for any help.

Pretty much a resounding no, hate to disappoint you.

    I'd use a m-f cable and a m-m adapter then..

unless you KNOW that you are getting a 25pin straight through male to male... be careful its not a null-modem cable or not all 25pins connected... male to female are more common as "Extension Cables" so all pins straight through....
