For the eleventh time in a row: ifm again "Excellent Training Company"

For the eleventh time in a row, ifm has been awarded the "Excellent Training Company" seal of approval for the quality of its training at the Essen, Tettnang and Siegen locations. This was made possible by an anonymous survey of 100 trainees and the analysis of training figures. Above all, the young professionals appreciate the open communication, the quality of the content and their future opportunities.
The shortage of skilled workers is not leaving the industry unscathed. One of the best ways to keep the necessary expertise in the company for many years and decades is undoubtedly to work as a training company. The ifm Group has always been committed to the qualification of junior staff, as evidenced by the "Excellent Training Company" seal of approval. In 2025, the industrial company will receive the award for the eleventh time in a row, and it is an important decision-making criterion for school leavers who are currently looking for an apprenticeship or dual study program.
Comprehensive evaluation process
The certificate is based on an anonymous survey in which 100 trainees answer detailed questions about the quality of their training, the content, personal interaction and future opportunities. In addition, key figures such as the number of trainees taken on and the level of the drop-out rate are collected together with the HR managers. "By combining these key figures with the assessment of the trainees, young people receive reliable information about how good a training company actually is," says business psychologist Judith Grefe from the "ertragswerkstatt", which supervises the awarding of the seal. Because: Only companies that receive good marks from their trainees and are particularly committed to training receive the award.
Future opportunities and communication are perceived positively
The junior staff rate the future opportunities in the company, the communication from the management level to the employees and the fact that many activities in everyday work are linked to training and correspond to the framework curriculum as positive. "Our focus is on the individual and subject-related support of our trainees and dual students, because their success is also our success," explains Anja Messnarz, Director HR Development and Vocational Training at ifm. With a tailor-made number of training places, long-term prospects are created for the trainees and the company. Bernhard Bentele, Vice President Human Resources, is pleased with the long tradition as an award-winning training company. "The seal of approval has a special meaning for us, as it reflects how our trainees and dual students perceive the training area in our company."
Places still available for 2025
Currently, 140 trainees and dual students are employed at ifm in Germany in over 35 professions and courses of study. There are still vacancies for the start of training in 2025, and the training places for 2026 will be published in the spring.
