I know the Homegunsmithforums.com has a solid model and also has a manual on how to do a scratch built lower with out CNC, and also 5 different blueprints, various manuals. I would post the models but the owner has hit some hard times and could use the memberships. Well worth the money believe me. Goodluck with your build.

Greetings and welcome to CNC Zone! Have yu done a search on this site? One of the members has built a 1911 - and may have the model - worth a look and ask.
    Jim
Experience is the BEST Teacher. Is that why it usually arrives in a shower of sparks, flash of light, loud bang, a cloud of smoke, AND -- a BILL to pay? You usually get it -- just after you need it.

You can buy instructional videos here:

    http://www.roderuscustom.tzo.com/

Not sure if the dvds include the CAD file or not.

I haven't been able to get any response to my e-mails to Roderus in regards to the video, and they don't have a working number. I would like to purchase the video, but i would like to ask some questions about the video before i purchase it. However i can't get anyone to talk to about this DVD.
