Hi I purchased a 2000mw laser engraver from china. It came with no Instructions at all. I have been searching the Internet on how to easily create a file for laser engraving, I can manually use the laser but am now stuck, my research has led me to believe that I need to create a .cn file. from a vector image. It would be great to have a program to complete the process easily, where do I start? All help is greatly appreciated. Stu Am willing to learn

Check out Inkscape and a gcode exporter for your drawings/images -- create your file and send it to the controller - I think you mean an .nc file? Cambam free version will let you make some nice things and generate .nc files directly
