We are running a 2001 Amada HFE 220-4S Press Brake with the OPE-2 Controller.

I'm needing to save out a copy of our machine's parameters to send to a software supplier and I'm in need of some guidance on how to do so properly...

I've reviewed our user manual and been through the steps of "Saving Programs".

(Insert Brand new 3.5" Floppy->Format it to the machine)
Main Screen->Other Functions-> Save Parameters
->Enter
->"ERASE DATA->FD CONFIRM(1=Y/0=N)"

* At this point I stopped as I wanted to verify that I would not actually be "Erasing" the Machine Parameters from the NC by selecting the "1" option.

Could anyone provide guidance on this topic it would be greatly appreciated!
