210mm? Is that your width or your height? Are there tombstones in stock ready for purchase? Yes. Is there one of the size you want? You did not give enough information.

Can you build one yourself? I do not know about you, but I can. Question will be, is it worth it to you to build it yourself compared to buying one.

    For just a few, try:

210mm is the dia of my rotary table.

As far as length, I was thinking around 20"

I have the ability to make one, but didnt know if there were companies that stocked these big things.

    Thanks for the links.

i checked out those links and none have what i'm looking for.

Im looking for a tombstone that is similar to the Chick Tombstone, but without the vises. I am looking for a simple 4-sided tombstone that can mount to a 220mm haas rotary table. Most have large bases that will not fit on the table.

    Thanks

You are asking for a lot here.

That would be less than eight inches on a side, plus you want 20" of height. Assuming a mounting flange and keeping all of the tombstone within the diameter of the rotary table Such a fixture would end up looking more like a pencil than a tombstones.

Another option would be an obviously too big tombstone that you bolt to the table internally.

Did you request quotes from any of the sources listed?

At only 8.6614" diameter, you will get 6.125" maximum across a face for a 4 side tombstone and stay in the diameter.

Because of mounting issues, I think you are going to have to end up with basically a 2 sided tombstone here.

In either case, the engineering is not that difficult and the manufacture is not that much more difficult.

Here is a start for you:

Thanks txcnaman. I guess I need to make my own.

A 6" face is what I am looking for. I am thinking I will bolt to the table through the open end with a 20" extension on a ratchet.

I will also make the tailstock. I'll post pics when I get it done. Its not something I need now but I will need it in about 6 months.

post number 6 and into the thread its for a 210 haas rotary table, I use it every day.

I use a Haas A frame support for the end on the 24 and 36? length ones.
I havent needed any support for the 12" long one.

Geof has an example on how to make a aframe using a pillow block bearing
