    4th axis cnc indexer

    4th axis cnc indexer ist video
    used a rockwell lathe as an indexer on the cnc machine , located at the front end of the cnc machine

    I added an extra stepper motor to drive the lathe, some some experimenting but it worked

    this was done some time back , in summary a person can turn a leg out faster that the cnc machine
    but the cnc can actually carve out a detailed carving on the turning , a person would need a lot of time to do this
    It was a good experiment for me I did all the research , wiring and mechanical work and got advice form some professionals
