how can I interface a ULN2003 with STH-39D1126(4-wire stepper ) to parallel port ?

One thing I have learned about using the parallel port, especially with a machine that uses Windows, is that the program needs to be running before the power is turned ON to your system. The operating system polls the parallel port on start-up and may change the state of the port in ways that are not compatible with your system. Once your program is in control, then you can power up.

find application datasheet of L297 AND L298 stepperdrivers for 4-wire bidirectional steering. Elektor also made a very good pcb in 1999...I use 'em for all my steppers (combination of L297 & L6203)

Here is a controller that uses some switches to manually set some of the parameters. These can be changed to operate using the parallel port.
