I have been making these for 14 years and the small manual machine that is dedicated to this job is worn out.
If anyone is interested in doing these, note the following:

Quote in lots of 1000, and in any other lot size it is economical for you to make.
I would like to see a couple samples before I place a large order. I can send a couple short pieces of stock and sample part from current production.
The target price I am looking for is around $0.95 each including shipping.
Shipping can be done with a USPS flat rate box for less than $.04 per piece I believe.
For reference, I currently pay about $0.18 per part for the material in bar stock form from my supplier.
I will consider any offers of up to $1.40 each.
Please, no offers from outside the USA.

Note: I put this part out on this forum in '06 or '08 (without a drawing) and found a supplier who later disappeared. I continued making them again till now. Thanks to all who responded back then, and please feel free to update your quote!

You should list your exact location there might be someone that can drop them off or save on shipping costs because of short distance Fedex now has some flat rate boxes that can beat the post office prices if they are in the lower mileage ranges.

Thanks to all who responded to my RFQ. I received 12-15 quotes/responses that seemed legitimate ranging in price from $0.80 to $1.40 per part with some not including shipping as I had requested. I tried to rank the responses based on enthusiasm, responsiveness, the completeness of the response as well as price, and chose two vendors so that there is a backup.
I have saved all the contacts I received and will try to send RFQ's directly in the future.
