    6040 lubrication

    I have a 6040z-s80 from carving-cnc. What should I use to lubricate the linear slides and the ball screws?

    This is slow speed surface, so any regular #2 grease will do the job. But looks like it is a lot of matter of preference. Key is to pick your lube and stick with it. Do not mix different kinds.
