    6T - tool nose compensation

    We have recently purchased a Mori Seiki TL-5 with a 6T controller, without manuals. Does anyone know how to programme using tool nose compensation? We have tried but it does not seem to work.

    Alternativly if anyone has manuals for this machine they could send via email we may be able to work it out.

    I believe our main problem is establishing the tool position in the controller. Is this a number from 1-8?
