My question is with the 840D control. Ours is 1997. Its PC based, early
windows or possibly Dos...not really sure. It’s on a Nicolas Correa 5axis
Gantry Mill.

Nice machine but the control is not very well liked here. Anyways, our main
beef is that when in “auto” mode, you can see only the line you are running
and a couple that have gone by. Nothing upcoming.
Does anyone know of some way to adjust the program windows size, or
customize the screen layout to show more of the upcomeing program.

Siemens (especially 810/840D) often has a different visual layout depending on machine brand and manufacturing year, In the lathe i used (from -98 if i remember right) had a pretty big "block window" when you were in Auto-mode, I think it showed between 8 - 10 lines. The only way for you to find out if it's possible to change that window you need to contact Nicolas Correa and ask them yourself, However, It was not possible in the machine i used.
