First of all, my limit switches are not the mechanical type switches that most people use. My switches are magnetic or electrical. A metal plate moves over the switch to activate it. Nothing ever touches the switches.
When I "Home" out my 6090 machine, the Z goes up to the limit switch and backs away. Then the Y moves forward to the limit switch and backs away. BUT when the X moves left, to the switch limit, it stops and backs away but it doesn't stop the "backing away" after clearing the limit switch. If I don't stop the movement, it will travel all the way to the right side. So the best I can do is "Home" out two of the three axis.
The switch works enough to stop the travel going home, but doesn't release after it backs away.
What's a solution?
