    Acramatic 2100 Alarm 44-84

    Hello!
After 2 batteries replacement (my big mistake), when Vikkers load, in diagnostic procedure I see CONV. SERVO failed.
And then alarm window 44-84 (no axes configured) DV5 board. I check this board in other Cincinnati, and in diagnostic is Passed!
So, apparently I need to re-flash RT board? Or not?
I have all hardware for RT board (3-3424-2169A03) for connecting and computer skills, but have no idea, where to get CMOS file.
Please help with this procedure, before my boss fired me.

    Thanks!

Get in touch with 5's Fives Machining Systems Inc.: Fives and the can tell you the settings that need to be made. It is my experience that the you do not necessarily need to reflashed, but rater just have the settings set back to proper specs for the board. I have info here for Board 3-424-217xA0x and Board 3-424-234xA0x , but don't know if they will do you any good, but here they are...

can you tell more if all the boards are passing the tests. can you go into settings and check if your servos are configured or did you loose your data. while booting up are there any problems. you have to see that as two simple motherboards booting up. the problem with the rt board is that it has to boot up all by itself without u seeing it. so make sure all bios parameters are ok and the board boots up even after some time without any problems. it has to go till it tells u no operationg system found...and that without showing any error before that. most important parameter are pnp(plug and play parameter) as enabled. and a drive as not installed or disabled... while in operation there shold be no red lights on on the bridge board. that will be confirmed that both i o card and servo card will pass the test. make a lot of screen shots that way well be able to define the error. one more thing you can try is to chkdsk your harddisk chkdsk c: and chkdsk d: and chkdsk /f c: and chkdsk /f d:. this way you know if you have errors on your disk and with the /f command you can fix it. don t do that without someone who has somehow some experience.

now this problem is solved, by changing some files in program. all of boards was Ok. we are lost our HDD, and problem began from there. now it work.
other serious problem that we have a lot of time, is the spindle rpm falling down after few minutes of work, and after 3-4 seconds his rpm coming back.
this occurs each time a few minutes of operation. it happens also when we turn on spindle in MDI: (M3S1200 for example). I think it`s spindle driver,
because we check his on the other cincinnati machine and get same result.
may be somebody know this problem and find decision?
thanks a lot to all of you.

Did you lose the Bios settings for RT-board, Sol? And are you capable of flashing it yourself?
If so you need to identify the rt-board id-number.

I think we are talking about 2 different things. What coop31 gave us is the BIOS settings that are in the Workstation board (far left board) and are retained by a 2032 watch battery. What you lost by changing the 2032 battery in the REAL TIME board (far right board) is the complete BIOS. This needs to be re-flashed to work correctly. The BIOS settings are different depending on the type of processor and board/part number. There are people on this site that can re-flash the BIOS or, you can send it to SIEMENS 1-800-879-8079. You need to look at the similar posts about this subject. Let us know what happens.

    Does anyone on here have a running A2100 with a 3-424-2123A ws-board?

I need the BIOS settings after resurrecting a dead DALLAS chip. A write-up like @coop31 did would be extraordinary nice!
