Adobe Illustrator / laser pro print driver problems

I recently bought a GCC Laserpro Mercury 3 and I can not get Illustrator files to print through the print driver. Coreldraw communicates with the print driver fine but I can not stand Coreldraw and do not want to use it. Color managing and everything else seems to be set properly it just won't open the print driver for the Mercury.

If anyone could offer advice or help I would greatly appreciate it. I'm new at this.

Sorry to have to say this but I think you have to 'bite the bullet' and get used to and start liking Corel Draw. Until somebody starts writing alternative printer drivers for the GCC and similar you are stuck with what you have. (unless somebody knows different )

    Tweakie.
CNC is only limited by our imagination.

Ugh. All the information about this machine states that Adobe Illustrator is a valid software option and the sales rep told me the same. I've called and spoke with him but he doesn't use Illustrator so isn't much help.

If anyone has any insight I'd be forever in your debt. :drowning:
