    Hello people,

It’s not meant as arrogance, but I’d like to remind that a control system consists of ca. 2% calculator rate called user interface – and that’s the only thing that user is faced with. The other 98% consist of control engineering – and the quicker and more dynamic the machine works, the more pretentious the task is to keep it in check.
So I can just warn you against manipulating with data and measuring equipment if you don’t have enough knowledge.
The trouble can be solved only by (or together with) the machine manufacturer. I don’t want to begin now the blah blah about bonding and warranty aspects.

    Regards and no harm meant,

    Clemens

Actually you have twigged that the manufacturer doesn’t want or isn’t able to solve the problem. Such a reinstallation isn’t sorcery. I may not write it here. But you can find this all at Siemens DoconWeb.

If the manufacturer doesn’t want or isn’t able to solve the problem, you can demand a specialist from Siemens.

You, certainly, also can rely on the specialists who know how to make a reinstall but don’t have an idea how to get a NC archive.

I know the problem of DMG. It deals with the fact thah they have too little of service people. :-( !!

They sell too many of machines. A friend of mine works at a big mould construction and he’s already had troubles even with acquisition of spare parts!!

I find that quite crass. The machines don't come cheap!!

The problem is not to get a technician, but to get the one who his stuff. The first technician didn’t get ahead alone and called reinforcements. Then 2 technicians spent 2 days for the repair.

It sounds familiar to me. That’s why I try to do such thing myself. If I call a technician everytime, then I’ll get poor.
