AGIECUT Classic S system error at startup

    Hi,

Today I started checking this AGIE machine with the SYS3175 error message "A program in this session encountered a problem and cannot continue". It actually appears to complete the system loading process but it doesn't, it just stays that way until I click OK TO END THE PROGRAM, and the machine turns itself OFF.

The only manual I have is named "Equipment Manual" and mentions nothing about this message, and the Maintenance section inside it is just for routine preventive maintenance.

It looks to me that one of the programs that need to be loaded at system startup is somehow corrupted or incomplete and needs to be reinstalled or repaired, the problem is I don't have any backup at all, neither instructions.

I was hoping someone could give me a hand with any information regarding this problem, or any idea that could help me get started. As always, I will appreciate all your help.

    Still need help

Have done some research about this, apparently this machine works with an operating system called OS/2, developed by Microsoft and IBM. This message is generated because an application (or even things like a computer driver) is doing something wrong and the OS/2 is detecting it, thus stopping the whole system from booting.

Since this problem is OS related, I think it can be fixed without touching the AGIE data, I just don't know how.

    call support

if you call 18004385021 for support, it is free. might take a bit to get back to you but they will help. You may have to reload the software or replace the hard drive.

    Hi Sinumeriko!
We have the same problem on the same machine! Did You solve this problem?
Did You just reinstall the OS?
