    ALLEN BRADLEY 8400 PROBLEM.

    Hi, we have a CNC mil with an Allen Bradley 8400 controller, there is a problem with the control. We turn on the machine and we are able to move the axes, when we try to send the machine to "MACHINE HOME" after we press the CYCLE START button an alarm in the bottom of the screen appears: PC INHIBITING START ERROR.

    If anyone knows about this alamr and how we can solve it please let us know.

    Well, we finally found the problem...There is a switch in the head of the machine that selects to work the coolant in auto or manual mode, it was in auto and that is why we wasn't able to perform anything with the cycle start button.
