    Amada Alignment Trouble

My machine is an Amada Vipros King II 358 with Fanuc.

I am trying to solve a problem where the Large AutoIndex station is constantly dulling the tooling of a very short period of run time. I'm looking for possible causes of why this is happening.

I have made sure the station is aligned using alignment tools. Picture of the slugs produced with a Rectangle .250x4.000 is provided.

I have seen this a couple of times before where one of the machine feet were not solidly on the floor and once where one foot was on a separate (cracked) section of concrete. On a higher tonnage punch the frame would flex throwing the tool out of alignment. Doing a static alignment under the striker it was perfect but when actually punching it was off. If this is your problem then you should see it on any higher tonnage punch not just the one.
    Hope this helps.
