    Assembly questions

Is there a way to mate to parts in an assembly then extrude a hole thru all the parts of an assembly? IE a bracket with hole mates to the surface of a part then I want to extend the holes on th ebracket into the mated part to attach the bracket without having to locate the hole pattern on the bracket and then exactly where I want it on the mated part.

    General concept:
You have an assembly with two blocks, one with a hole.
Mate the blocks in your assembly.
In the ASSEMBLY open the part without the hole.
Create a sketch on the face which you want the hole.
Transfer the circle entity onto your new sketch.
Open your Block Part without the hole and extrude the circle.
    Hope this helps.

Not sure why I couldn't do this yesterday. But today I can extrude cut in the assembly and it works like it should.
