Associating existing toolpaths with a different cpl

Hi all, this is a problem that's been bugging me a while - I'm wondering if anyone knows how to do this.

I'm a copy and drag enthusiast, I hate repeating work. I've got some parts that are symmetrical that I'm turning.

Machine one side in edgecam, all nice.

Now the second end is identical, but in a different position in the Z axis (because the finished end I'm now holding on sits deeper in the chuck)

I've created a new machining sequence for the second end, with a new CPL, and I've dragged my machining cycles across from the first end sequence into the second. Only problem is, the cycles are still all referencing the original (first end) CPL. i.e., they're all datuming off the wrong point in Z.

So the question is: How do you tell an existing machining operation to look at a different CPL?

When you copied them to the new sequence, they should have been in reference to the new CPL. That's how it works in Mill. Never tried it in Lathe.

Couldn't you just use a G55 and shift your Z at the machine?
Or in ECam... did you try a Edit - Transform - Translate to shift it in Z.

yes, it does - mistake on my part. My new sequence didn't pick up the right CPL rather than the copied operations going to the wrong one.
