Well we have been using the wiggle type for years, I've tried an electronic one but wasn't happy of the accuracy. We work to .0002" / 5 microns.

I'm looking at the following:

Anyone have experience with these?

Reason for changing from a wiggler is that we cannot work with the spindle on and door open. H&S has taken over.

edge finders aren't for .0002 accuracy - test indicators are.
However Starrett are very good.

SPI makes a nice electronic edge finder. Of course,the material must be metal.
