BobCad V26 setup sheets not correct

Checking my set up sheets and the stock dimensions are waaaaaay off for a imported file from V25. Is this a bug? How do I correct this? Anyone else have this going on?

So you are going from V25 ( all ready setup part ) to V26 and create a setup sheet where the stock dimensions are off?

yes....i just imported the v25 file and run a set up sheet to see what it looked like and it was off.

So are you saying i have to reset stock dimensions on every part i bring from v25 to v26 for the set up sheet to work correct?

I have found a lot of files done in V25 dont work out right in V26, toolpaths especially can be weird, just run it through again and all is fine.

    Big Chips,
you dont actually have to redo the toolpaths as such, just walk through the strategy if it is incorrect and choose the correct options. It doesnt happen with all of them but a few I tried it did.

No I didnt report that as I didnt really think there was anything wrong as old files going into new version with different options I would expect some incompatibility.

    Big Chips

Odd issue for sure, it intriqued me so I have checked a few of my old V25 files in V26, done some with "bounding box", "wireframe" and "solid" stocks, all came through the setup sheet I used (I only tried the "Full Setup Sheet" option) fine here, if you are using a different option then there may be some difference

Only big issue I have had so far with V26 is the complete loss of a couple of files, when I say loss I don`t mean the files have disappeared off the PC, what I have is the loss of the content of the file, example, worked a lot of hours on a 3D mould file, came out at a little over 82Mb, I made sure it was saved properly and was indeed that size, then went back onto working machines, couple hours later I went to open the file I saved, came up empty ! ! ! Nothing at all, even though it still showed a file size of 364K so there should have been something there

Very, very annoying, I can put up with losing work I have done due to me not saving out often enough on large(ish) files when it "falls over" but this is just a real PITA

Also had a few of my older V25 files (Not the last build ones) that I can`t open now, they were done in a fully licensed copy of V25 but I get a can`t open file because it was done in Demo version error message, luckily they were not of any great importance so not worth reporting as a "bug" for now, if it gets any worse then I will make a report.

    Regards
    Rob
