Howdy,

I would like to have my post processor insert an M00 only when the code reaches a certain feature.

Hoping for a step by step explanation if any one has one.

I tried using the "MIST" feature like this:

704. Prefix for rotary stock length (variable rotary_stock_length)? "L"
705. Prefix for Z Feed Rate? ""
706. Coolant Mist code? "M00"
707. Coolant Air code? "M07"
708. Coolant Oil code? "M07"
710. Primary Rotary CW direction code? "M13"
711. Primary Rotary CCW direction code? "M14"

But of course the processor kept returning M07....why it do that?

Might help if you said just where you want the M00 to be, is it for manual toolchanging ? ?

If so then see below for where/how to add the required M00
