Looking an older machines, and running into bt35. Seems new holders are pretty much non-existant. And Im used to Cat 40. If I can get a pile of bt35 holders, is there any reason, other than future availability, to avoid this size?

They are after the Cat 40 and Cat 50 holders.
You will need to search a little.
BT holders bring back memories for me. I used to work at a place where I was the assistant supervisor, responsible for fixturing, programming and tooling up a Cincinnati Cim-X720, it ran BT45 holders. Didn't see those on that site!
