    Butcher Block V Groove Bearings

    A while back, another member had a post about the idea he had to modify the butcher block bearings. Since I had purchased 16 of them a year ago and never used them because of the large play they had, I kept the info and today I modified them with great results. I choose a 3/8" steel rod which fits perfect in the V Groove but other sizes also fit nice. Its your choice.

    If you are interested, here is what I did

    I would put two skate bearings in them. That would fill it out just about right.
