CamSoft System CS-209 for steppers - Sale or Trade

Is anyone interested in a CamSoft System CS-209?

I got it with a Bridgeport Boss 5 but never did try to install it. I called CamSoft and got a high price for support (I requested a wiring diagram) so I went with something else.

It has the little serial? indexer box for stepper motors.

I considered Ebaying it and thought it better to sell it to someone who knows about the system already or they might have the same luck I did.

The kit was never installed but is missing the USB controller. It has CNC-Lite version 5.4 and AS3000 version 8.6. Both pieces of software include a floppy which I assume is a license disc. It also includes the software dongle and 2 big manuals.

    Refer here for pics.

The interface box has never been powered up. The previous owner thought that a stepper on the Bridgeport was bad so he stopped his retrofit. The motor was fine. Bridgeports had 2 stepper versions and the "bad" one was wired differently so when he did a continuity test he measured a short where there should have been none.

So I got this kit and 3 unused Gecko drives. His loss was my gain but he had better machines anyway.

I dont want much money for it and would entertain the idea of a trade.

Does it have a Galil card?
    If so, what number?

No galil card, just a stepper board.

As Karl said, no Galil card here

    Here are some pics...

I REALLY don't want much for this and would be glad for some good tooling, KS-200 collet holders, even a good piece of scrap aluminum. I don't want the $2K the previous owner spent to go for absolutely nothing.

I am guessing that the software is worth more than the stepper card especially to someone who already has the same version and needs another seat.
