can anyone give me a canned drill cycle for pecking with a live tool.machine is a mori seike sl25 with a msc-516 control. any help appreciated

I'm not sure what kind of control that is, but this may give you some ideas.

Canned Cycles can be Tricky. Most of it depends on the original Options that came with the Control Software.

The first code that I wrote is the original and the one after was an upgrade that the company purchased later.

I Hope this gives you some ideas on where to start. Maybe you can play a little and try some different things to see if you can get started.

The control I think is a Fanuc as it is very similar to rest of the sl25's.It just doesn't say on the control panel.

On one of the other lathes which is a Mori Seiki SL65 the drill cycle is written this way

The 2 machine controls are identical as far as I can tell.
Trying to help a fellow worker out with this.Thanks for the idea.

Rather odd the way the SL65 will run it.
Also odd the basic cycle is the same on the Mazak Integrex that I run.
