first post for me so bear with me. I have been a toolmaker for 25 years mostly in
injection mold. Between schooling and a year or so using Mastercam 2D and 3D
on the job I feel reasonably confident in my ability. Problem- this 53 year old boy is now bored stiff for last 8 months sharpening dies and am ready for new challenges- how about 4/5 axis milling and lathe with live tooling? Have a school in mind that is a Haas T.E.C. and is equiped with all of the above. In the meantime i'll keep um sharp untill August when i'll decide for sure. If I take the plunge it sure would help if I could get some ideas on some projects (I'll probably be working independently in class alot) Won't know for sure untill the first week of August 09. Just trying to get all the ducks in line for now.
Hoping for some feedback THANKS
