I recently bought an older Phoenix GS48 DXH and it has a Centroid controller which was run by an older 486 PC with CNC7 in DOS.
I upgraded the PC to a slightly new version and was in the process of getting the software off the old Maxtor hard drive when it died. I had managed to get CNC7, and some .nc files off the drive before it's demise.
I am still trying to get my head around g-codes and I have got a copy of Centroids manual and their G and M codes.
There is on .nc file that I have almost gotten the hang of but there are a few things that still baffle me with it.
The code is for a 320mm diameter circle and I can cut that with confidence.
The code is -
:320Dcirc
:12mm staight cutter

G90
X-10 Y10 Z50

M94/3/7
G4 P5

G01 X 600 Y-300 F2000
G2 Y-632 R166 Z-10
G2 Y-300 R166 Z-19
G2 Y-632 R166
G2 Y-300 R166

G01 Z 50 F10000

Y 10 X -10

M95/3/7

Most of it is no longer a complete mystery but I could do with some help with a few of the lines.
I cannot find what M94/3/7 means but I guess it has to do with starting the spindle - would that be correct?
M95/3/7 I would guess to be it's opposite.

G4 P5 ????????

Any help would be much appreciated.
I need to get the rest of the software off the old drive somehow also.
Or buy a later version from the local Centroid agent, whichever is the easier pill to swallow
