Hello,
I am trying to create a custom tool library to speed up my programming. Until now I have done it the lazy way, just selecting the default tools and typing in my speeds and feeds every time.
However the ammount of wasted time has finally caught up with me, so I have started making my own tool file to represent the common tools I use.
Here's where I am stuck:
I just added a 4" face mill through the tool manager and input all of it's dimensions and the default speeds and feeds I would like. However when I apply this facemill to a toolpath the FPT (feed per tooth) value under the tool tab is incorrect!
Mastercam is assuming this is a 4 flute/insert tool. In reality it has 6. How do I fix this? I can't seem to find where to change it. This problem is going to come up again when I start adding all of my endmills...
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Colton.
