Hi! I'm 70% finish with the machining of the EKF CNC Project, 3 axis router. The nema 34 double shaft with gecko 540 from kelinginc is my first choice (because of the 1/2" shaft). I'm also considering the nema 23 380 kit from cncrouterparts.com However, I think that my big fingers will be a problem if I try to solder the cables myself. What's your recommendation? The machine will be controlled by MACH3. Thank you

Well for me not have much experience with soldering or electronics
It was great to just pick the items off the shelf so to speak & just fit them
cncrouterparts was a great help to my build & it finished off the build very nice.

I'M STILL NOT CONVINCED I SHOULD GO SOLO IN THE PREPARATION OF THE WIRES. IS THERE A COMPANY LIKE CABLES TO GO THAT WOULD HAVE THE NEMA CABLES READY-MADE?

Kelinginc website is clear as mud. But, he will supply the drivers and motors with finished and tested cables and plugs. And of course, you know that buying your drive and motors from the same source usually gets you a discount. Pretty sure
this is true at Keling also.
