Trying to get our A2100 onto the Network, guys from Siemens told me it should be easy to configure, but passwords they either gave me or I found from the manual are not working...
Any alternative PW ?
Higher security PW ?
...
Thanks
Dom.

well, my boss bought a cincinnati with a siemens acramatic 2001, and we need to disable the A axis, we need to take of to use a full table, and the control won't home the machine without the axis conected, how do I enable all buttons on the configuration? or if exists, how can I get rid of the password existent, because the company who sold this machine closed down and nobody knows or don't want to say the password for this machine...
Try: Worldclass or cimtrolusa
Thanks !
But those only seems to give me access to a few more option
MAI and RunOFF levels ?!
How about accessing windows NT drivers / network configuration (button exist but not accessible...)
Would appreciate if anyone had a different password to try...
Thanks again
I am also in need of the Windows Administrator password for the a2100 control.
We have a Unova version (2001) of the Cincinnati Arrow 500.

I have scribbled "CIMTROL USA" in the manual. Not sure if it's in capital or
small letters - nor if there's a space in it, but you can give it a try.
Often "OPERATOR" or similar will work.
Try progman
Try entering nothing.. just hitting enter..
or "password"
or "worldclass"
Thanks for the reply. Those didn't work but I found out my arrow is screwed anyway. The file upsves.exe (d:\winnt\system32) is missing from the system so the software can't start. I have no idea where to get this file short of calling Siemens. If I get this machine running again I'll make a clone of the drive 1st thing.
Thanks for that info.
I used progman and it worked.
