CNC Fusion and Hoss travel increase mod

Does anyone know if the CNC fusion kits can be used in conjunction with the Hoss X and Y travel increase mods? Hoss ground out clearance on the table and saddle to get a little more movement. I'm thinking about getting a CNC Fusion kit but I like the idea of being able to increase the travel as well.

I've seen at least one person that cut the cncfusion y axis mount back a bit.
It lets the saddle extend beyond the base about a 1/2 inch to take advantage of my y axis mod.

I was able to expand the Y travel to 4.5" by modifying the CNC fusion kit. See: http://www.cnczone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=51611
    to see all the details.
