    CNC "Step-Syn" stepper

    Hi all,
I'd like to make use of these rather heavy-duty IBM "Step-Syn" Type 103-820-2 steppers, but am not sure what driver(s) to use. Any suggestions?

These? https://www.casa.co.nz/motors/steppe...20-2-Schem.pdf They seem pretty normal, but have a lot of inductance (7mH). That means they'll need drivers that can take a lot of voltage, optimally about 83 VDC. I like Geckodrive's stepper drivers, and their new Raptor would probably be a good choice here, although it isn't recommended to feed it more than 80 volts, which should be fine. https://www.geckodrive.com/product/g...stepper-drive/
