Compensation of non-perpendicularity between X and Y axis?

Hello, I am new to the forum.
I built a CNC router with a working area of 980x700mm under the control of Mach3, but I am still clarifying some issues
You can have a look at the attached photo of the machine.

When I set the machine to cut a rectangle it turns out a parallelogram. I guess this means the Y gantry is not perfectly perpendicular to X axis. I measured the delta, and it is about 2.5mm for the full range of Y axis (700mm), so I tried to implement the following correction formula in the Function Cfg menu: f(x)=x+y(2.5/700)
. Indeed this leads to a proper rectangular cut.
The problem now is that when the machine finishes a job and I move the axis with jogging (let's say jist to blow the chips away from the working area), the correction formula is not applied, which leads to loss of the proper coordinates.

My question is - is there a way to jog the machine applying this correction, or I must not move the machine manually when using such a correction?

    Thanks!

As you've discovered, the formulas don't always work, which makes them practically useless.

Your only real option is to adjust the machine to make it square.
