    computer connection question

    Hi All

    I have a Sharp 2412 VMC with a Fanuc OiMate. I want to send text files (programs) to it but have no idea where or what to look for in terms of a simple Windows based program to do this with. I currently run back and forth with a flash card.

    Any thoughts?

    Check out this thread.

    Data transfer software for fanuc 18-T."
    Hyperterminal is suggested which comes with Windows XP.
    If a cable is needed, try the RS232 threads.
    All the information needed is at this site in various posts.
