What I wanted to know was have you had this problem and if so how did you fix it I finally got drive to work for pci card but no matter what I do I can not get ncstudio to work. And by the sounds things I will be probey asking for settings as well. Why do we buy china stuff ?????? Lol

what you mean its don't run?

did you install, and have difficulties with settings? does it move your router?

or ncstudio don't run at all?

    ==============================

    when you install it..

1st install only ncstudio... WITHOUT CARD WOULD BE IN COMPUTER

card can not be in computer when installing ncstudio
possible the text you seeing says restart windows, or shut down..

    turn off (shut down windows..

2nd.. after you installed ncstudio, not only shut windows down, also unplug from power the computer..

3rd install card into computer, try to don't touch anything on card, if possible use a glove to install into computer

after card placed right, power computer up

    4th
turn computer on, and wait windows try install driver for new hardware.. select no automatic search, find ncstudio in ""program files on c:/ hardrive..
windows will find the driver and and finish it..

5th now you can start ncstudio and check first I/O state all need to be N and red colored
if any green colored alt-ctrl-shift and right click on, and in menu reverse the state (if you turn motor on, then proper range will turn green, and off motor turns green back to red)

    6th restart ncstudio..
go to settings, manufactory and set steps for motors..values use to be 0.003125 but you need to check it..

I collected manuals.. if you need I can send it.. please give your email in pm..

    one more note..

if card is green colored then its likely ncstudio 4.5xxx
if card is blue colored, then its ncstudio 5.xxxx

they are working well... if accidentally its get damaged, you can buy about 50 on ebay, or aliexpress... plus shipping..

You must install the software first and then setup the card as Victor stated, if you still have problems with the software once you have the card installed, if you want you can pm me your email and I'll send you a copy of my complete install.

    cheers, Ian

im not sure if it possible... try to select tect in warning window,, select >>>highlight>>> copy clipboard
    and try google translator..

if you install not proper driver, then ncstudio can send output when card expect otherwise input.. im not expert of programming,, I just went trough on these..
my concern is , the card visible made on a high-tech automated processing line.. card itself looking quality..
designing a card like this not simple at all.. and its price shows it made as much as likely popular videocards..

the next pci controlcard, regardless of how many axis start about 1000 dollar..even it would be Chinese..
I tried to get for 4 axis.. and that's already 1000-1200 even the Chinese..

at this moment they have 11:30 before noon.. if you luckily someone answer on Skype or for your email.. try to ask them an English ncstudio..

I just noticed, ian offered you one.. take his offer because due to language, you might cant get working really..

    it is possible conflict

the yellow exclamation says windows can not installed the driver, or wrong driver installed for the card....

    first go to control panel

    go to system>>> device manager

find ncstudio or weihong pci control
    right click on
    uninstall

    2nd.. turn off computer
    pull out card

    uninstall nc studio too

start over .. you have to be sure , you uninstall in device manager before you pull card out..
also when you reinstall, don't click the recommended windows searc for driver

click on browse and choose ncstudio or weihong directory til the ok button not greyed out longer..
click ok and windows will install it in the windows system directory.....

that's a normal windows language.. lol...

Hello Victor, THANK YOU VERY MUCH IT WORKSSSSS YEAH, Could i please ask if i could get a copy of the manual off you as i dont have alot of info on ncstudio. I have a tool sensor but when i got to calabrate it, it just keeps going so yeah if i could that manual off you that would be even more thank you...

    my email is downunder1811@hotmail.com

    Regards:
    Allan

P.S I thought i would add what they told me about the tool sensor,

Directions for use of the tool sensor: press the “ON/OFF+MENU” key will start tool
setting and the Z axis will descend slowly, put the tool sensor directly beneath of the
material, when the milling tool nose run into the sensor, the Z axis will rises quickly.
This function only can set the Z→0, the accuracy depends on the thickness (tool sensor thickness )that you set in the control system.

Hi Victor, Don't know if you got last message but if i could i would love to grab a copy of the manual off you... Also I am a little puzzled my machine is 900L x 600W x 100H but in ncstudio the setting don't say the same i have added some screen copies....

    Attachment 196984
    Attachment 196986
    Attachment 196990
    Attachment 196992

The company tell me it is because i don't have size of machine in settings and that i am running my motor values at 0.003125 not as they say 0.05

As for machine size if i put 600x900 the machine just wants to keep running and won't stop.

I have not used actually the limits..

last week I ordered two card.. I really like ot figure out because I saw a very cool toolsensor, it has a springing top... so when you touch it, the top can move downward and don't break the bit, from there I could stepping up ward til contact loose and that's the zero..

what I have brocchures, pdfs no one talks why ncstudio ignore limits.. I believe thers some settings issue..

I don't want to guessing, but wants to make my own experiment..

lookslike I will get both card a green colored and a blue colored.. and I going to make my tests..

I using the machine over a year or so, and never used the limits.. means I never homing the machine.. it could be useful for atc.. otherwise I don't trust a limitswitch that it could precisely reset zero..
I have always on larger job a small circle or other points I using for zeroing.. that's milled together with the project, so any stop or electric shortage , I can find simply the zero on x-y direction..

theres two value set, 0.003125 and 0.0625.. the difference is the 5 or 10 mm lead screw.. possible the 0.5 set is not for microsteps..

I going to send you what I have, but again I find nothing in them about why limitswitch ignored..
beyond this issue it worked well..

mine can run over 300 ipm... tough I never used for machining really..

I made test with 3d cuts, and result is where a detailed surface breaks toolpaths for 1mm segments, theres no machine will perform 300 ipm.. don't even 100..
in fact at a vertical wall if machine don't stops to zero the bottom will be radiused..

fedex says one card be here tomorrow, next card will be here about 2 weeks.. free shipping makes 2 week, while extra 32 dollar makes 3 days..

so after they are here I will back on this issue..

I also called both manufacturer I know they giving both version of ncstudio..
I used actually the 4.53 with the blue colored what actually designed for the 5.XXX

so it might was the issue used not the proper version..

if you want weihong support then you have to buy from weihong directly, and one card might cost 1000-1200.. those will work sure..

opponents for ballscrew always pointing ballscrew slow.. its not true at all.. a 25or 30 mm lead will be same fast than gear.. its all pending of the ratio as for one turn how much the equipment moving on the given axis..
gears are connectin with one soingle teeth while a screw connecting at least 30-40 ball.. serious difference..

Your dead right there Victor, limit switches on these machines are only good for stopping the gantry from crashing, not for zeroing co-ordinates. As you have done, I also have a grid of rectangles and grid lines engraved onto my surface in case I need to re-zero the spindle. But I find that as I don't push the machine (I never run above 2400mm/min), I have never had to re-calibrate the axis once I worked out the settings. The only time I used the limit switches was when I deliberately tripped them each in turn, to find out the maximum machining area possible, which turned out to be around 920mm x 715mm or so from memory.

    cheers, Ian

Yeah guys I am finally working this out, my motor pulses are so far 0.05 for X Yand Z but I am only get 590 x 890 out of my machine instead of 600 x 900. When I look at screw there is more there about 20mm so to me there USA little more adjust to go as 610 x 910 would sound better for my size machine. Do you guy know how to work out mm/pulse or how many pulses per mm???? Also thanks for all your help both of you it has been much appreciated.
