Hello there.

I'm looking to convert this manual lathe(http://www.tooriistamarket.ee/files/...tric_tools.pdf ,page 41 ) to a cnc one. the main things we are going to produce(being a starting bicycle company), are plastic bushes/bearings and some aluminium parts.

I've heard good things regarding littlemachineshop and wanted to ask if it is possible to help me with the conversion .

p.s. - one of the things i would like to automate is threading the hubs, so the conversion should be able to handle threadings.

Are you going to be turning bushings from bar stock?
The reason I ask is the spindle bore on that machine is very small, not real conducive to turning bushings in a mild production setting.
The machine itself looks very capable of being converted to cnc, but the next machine looks much more capable of what you say you are wanting to do.
Threading with either under cnc control is possible with spindle index pulse card.

And little machine shop is a good source for these lathes.
