    Cycle Time

I'm assuming GibbsCAM can calculate an approximate cycle time of some sort but I'm not seeing anything in the help files.

    Whats the secret??

    Thanks

    There are two places:

    1. Menu bar --> Window --> Operation Summary

    2. Right click on the Operation List --> Operation Manager --> right click at the top of the window --> Calculate TP Len/Time. You only get times for each operation here rather than the total like the Operation Summary shows, but here you see much more info, and if your running 2011 you can edit parameters here.

For more accurate machine times, MDDs can be edited to reflect actual rapid speeds, machine travels and tool change positions, but you need to be very careful and know what you are doing or crashes will be in your future. Your reseller or GibbsCAM support/post dept can help you with this.
