    Damaged nema 34 ?

I have been sent some stepper motors. one of the 34's looks like its had a large force applied to the end of the shaft ie knocking the shaft back into its body. I can tell this from the damaged packing. The result is that it is almost impossible to turn the stepper by hand. is it scrap if so can it be repaired ?
Unfortunately I can send it back as it was some time ago.
