    Afternoon folks,

In my quest to find my self a decent CNC Router to purchase from a reliable/reputable company i have come across 'Redsail' or their website Laser Engraver - Engraving Laser Cutting Machine, Vinyl cutter, Cutting plotter by Redsail

They have offered me a competative quotation on thier 4' x 8' CNC Router which sums up as below:

    Gantry Height: 200mm
X, Y ,Z Guide: Rack and Pinion ,Gear driver, Square linear guide way
    Drive type: Micro-Step Stepper Motor
Spindle: 3.0KW high speed (water cooling)
    Max Moving Speed: 35000 mm/min
    Max Cutting Speed: 25000 mm/min
    Resolution: 0.025mm
    ACCURACY:0.01MM
Interface: DSP handle (read USB memory directly)
    Command code: HPGL, G-code
    Spindle tools: ф3.175, ф6, ф12.7
    Power: AC220V±10% / 50~60Hz

Id like to know how the above sums up to other Chinese based CNC Routers and if anybody else has had dealings with this company ???

    Thank you

    Price

What price did they quote you? I should have mentioned the salecnc machine z height is wrong on their site. It is 200mm like the big machines in that class.

yes, usually the working size of 4*8 cnc router is 1300mm*2500mm*200mm.

It is much better if the square rail, ball screw are imported.

The spindle is optional, you can chose air-cooling or water-cooling.

Motor: stepper or servo. Servo is better: high stability and more powerful.
