I've just uploaded my CNC calculations spreadsheet (DesignMax CNC) that provides a good collection of calculations for CNC router design. See the jpg link below for an indication of what the spreadsheet calculates and the xls link for the spreadsheet itself (right-click, "Save Targe As" to download rather than use the spreadsheet directly in IE). Some of the calculations available are max feed, torque, horsepower, resolution and accuracy. Four worksheet tabs allow separate calculations for x-y-z axes plus spare.

I wrote this some time last year when I was anticipating building a CNC router, but that plan never materialized. Note that CNC isn't my area of expertise and I haven't verified the accuracy of my calculations.
