    Digitizing macro's

    Hi
I am trying to get hold of some macros to digitize. I have a Haas mill id like to digitize something on.
Any format will do, ie fanuc, haas, siemens, heidenhain etc etc
Is there anyone who can help me.

    Thanks Mark

    Digitizing Macros

    Mark,

Just purchased a VF-3 with the opm-40 and am in the same boat. I downloaded
the macro manual from renishaw but not knowledgeable enough to figure it out at this point. If you make any headway let me know.

    Good luck,

    Mike

    Hi Mike
The renishaw cycles will not help you. There are soe cycles for inspection, ie measuring bores etc, but none for digitizing. You will need to create your own cycles for digitizing using the G31 command and macros and outputting data through RS232.
I created some digitizing cycles and VQC templates but for my own probing system, not sure how well it will work with the OMP40

You might go over to the Mach3 web site and check out their probing routines and macros, might give you some ideas.
