    Toplakd,

Have tried the scaling of the models, some end up rather large though. The 5mm underlayment seems to be the only material readily available around here so its what I use. How about cutters/bits? What type do you use on your machine?

I use 3 and 4mm wood, and you should know the difference beetwen 3mm and
5mm is 66%. So the Eiffel that is 80cm high with 3mm, is 133cm with 5mm wood.

I use 2 flute 2mm bits for the speeds up to 2000mm/min and 3mm for higher speeds.

Hi all I would like to make some of these but believe it or not its very hard to get balsa wood over here UK.

So what could I use instead MDF does not seem very good as when I have used it before if you have small parts they break easy and Ply wood splinters.

    Any pointers thanks.

    Hi all,

There are so many amazing projects here congratulations but I did not find a tutorial to convert the images or PDF files to vector ( or DXF/DGW) in order to use with ArtCam or similar program.

Do you know where can I find that tutorial? ( or the post where is the tutorial)

    thank you
    Cristal
