    DPRO Conversational Software

    This is the PC version of the DPRO Conversational programming system.
    We use this for our Hitachi Hit28, 840D Siemens control CNC Lathe.

    It will extract into 3 folders

    TC= DPRO Turn for 840C
    TD= DPRO Turn for 840D
    TM= DPRO Turn/Mill for 840D

    To use it Just run the exe file from whichever folder.

    Useful to those who program 840 controls and hopefully
    also useful for others to learn more about GCode programming
    and tooling setup.

    Get the file here
    http://rapidshare.com/files/9640368/DPRO_ENG.zip.html
    8.3mb extracts to around 38mb

    Hey, thanks for the PM.

    Software looks good, did you write it?

    I couldn't find a link for any other info, just the one for the download.

    Thanks...

    No I couldn`t write anything like that. It came from a machine tool seller.
    I also couldn`t find any other links or info on the software.

    Does anyone know if a demo version is available for the conversational
    program called Manual Guide for Fanuc controls.
    We have a KIA SKT250MS Lathe which has the 18i control, the simulation graphics are hopeless, especially when trying to view C and A Axis work.
    All you get is the 2D view in the X and Z plane, useless for checking spindle rotation.

    Manual guide has rotate functions on the simulation, so you can select any of 6 different planes(iirc), or custom rotate to an angle that suits. You can also choose a cutaway view to show internal detail.

    MANUAL GUIDE i

    Joey,
    if you contact fanuc I think there is a pc based version of manual guide i simulator. This is a one of the most powerful conversational software applications i've seen. I use it religously on my mill/turn lathes and could not imagine the 18i control without it. One of the best things about it is you can use it in conjuntion with cad/cam g-code,custom macro, and standard can cycles with total editing flexability. The small cost to implement this software is insignificant compared to the return in investment!

    I did send Fanuc UK an email on the 28th Dec. so far I`ve only had a reply saying they will have someone contact me.

    Still waiting :drowning:

    Do you know if they do a demo version ?
    and how much is the full version, i`m sure my company would buy it for me

    Manual Guide for the PC is available from GE Fanuc.
    It costs $2200

    Machine tool Builders / System Integrators can get it for Free or a reduced cost.
