    Drawbar retainers

    When changing my belleville springs i noticed that the 2 halfmoon retainers that hold it all together were broken in 2.
    So I now have 4 pieces. They dont cost much but will take time to get here from USA. I was thinking of making my own and was wondering If someone knows what quality Steel should be used or if its ok to use the broken parts until i can get new ones.

    use the hardest material you have,as they are under imminence pressure
