editing post processor v23 fanuc om

any one know how to edit the post for the fanuc om. processoe.

id like to get rid of the g91 g28 xo, yo in the first few lines of the program.
and all of the text that is in the beggining that is useless to me. the back plot is not that good anyway.
and i would like to get rid of the mo8 on the fourth or fifth line..
and there are several things at the end that are not needed.

my machine is older and can only hold around 14000 line cnc program so i have to delete everything possible.
    thanks chuck

Always make a backup of your post before editing, that must be said first. Then open your *.MillPst file in notepad or Predator Editor. Delete the unwanted lines. Just don't delete the Blocks. These are the lines that start with a number:

    1000. Version

It really is that easy. Each section is separated by these Blocks so if there is a problem with the end of the file, look for the section titled "File trailer" or something like that. If you're not sure which section does what, turn the debug mode on, I thinks it's Block 26 or 27 and post some code. It will show you what block is being used by the post processor to generate the code you don't like. When you're done editing, turn debug off and you should be good.

If you need help, post your post (LOL) and I can give you a hand later. I gotta get a few jobs done today.
