    emco compact 8. distance from center to top of compound

    im trying to figure out the distance from the center of the spindle to the top of the compound. also i need to know what the thread is on the stock tool post. im looking to buy a tool post and those are the specs they want to make sure their post will fit my machine. any one have any ideas. im looking at the a to z quick change tool post from little machine shop.com

    I have an Emco/mair compact 8 and would be happy to get you the information you seek. I am quite a newbie at machining but I can beasure and check thread sizes for you
    just send be a detailed E-mail on exactly what measurements you need and i will get the for you if you still need them
