    ENI-1024 Encoder

    Hi all,

Has anyone any experience with CNCDrive's magnetic encoder ENI-1024? I am unsure of the correct pin numbers on the crimp on connectors, and the documentation unfortunately doesn't show this well at all. Picture below is from the ENI-1024 documentation.

This is my take on the pin outs below:

Can anyone confirm if this is correct?

My motor housings are made, the magnets are fitted to shafts, I just need to crimp on my CAT5 cable.

    Thanks

Wouldn't contacting them be the way to go?

I do a little bit better job of documenting the pinout on my encoder:
    techref.massmind.org/techref/io/sensor/pos/enc/ENC1.htm
but if anyone is confused, they can always email me and I answer the question... why wouldn't this manufacturer?

What you could do to obtain the pin out is to check the reverse side of the board that shows the connections and ground plane and +ve etc, and from there maybe it is possible to obtain the pin out sequence for the rest.

    Re: ENI-1024 Encoder

Figured it out by following the pins back to IC supply and ground. Actually it was quite self explanitory.

Pins are as follows for anyone else doing this:

    Thanks for the help.
